This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.
What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to submit one of the forms on this site — the Contact form or one of the four service “Book Now” forms (Visa Assistance, Umrah and Hajj, Flight Booking, Travel Insurance). Depending on which form you use, this may include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number (collected on every form)
- Details specific to the service you’re asking about — for example, country of interest, travel dates, number of travelers, hotel category, or class of ticket
- Any additional notes or messages you choose to include
We do not require an account to use this site, and we do not collect payment information anywhere on it — there is no online payment or checkout here.
The footer of this site includes a “Stay Updated” email signup field. It is not currently connected to any mailing list — submitting it does not send us your email address or subscribe you to anything.
How we use your data
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, arrange that service with you directly — by phone, email, or WhatsApp, outside of this website. We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Form submissions are stored as entries in this website’s database, on our hosting server. Once our outgoing email is fully set up, new submissions will also be forwarded to our team’s inbox at info@amanigo.com; until then, our team reviews submissions directly from the database. We don’t currently have a fixed retention schedule (e.g. “deleted after X months”) — entries are kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle your inquiry, and removed on request (see “Your rights” below).
Who else can see your data
The software that runs this site’s forms and pages operates on our own server — it doesn’t hand your data to an outside company as part of normal operation. The one outside connection this site makes on your behalf is to Google, which serves the typefaces used on this site (Montserrat and Inter Tight) directly from its own servers; as with any site using Google Fonts, this means your device’s IP address is visible to Google purely as a side effect of your browser fetching those font files, not for tracking or profiling. We may also disclose personal data if required to by Nigerian law or a valid legal request.
Legal basis for processing (Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023)
We process your personal data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 on the following bases:
- Consent — you choose to submit a form and provide your details to us.
- Legitimate interest — responding to an inquiry you’ve initiated, and providing the travel services you’ve asked about.
If you’re visiting from the European Union or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law (such as the GDPR), we aim to honor the same underlying rights described below as a matter of good practice, even though the NDPA is the primary framework governing this site given that AmaniGo Travels operates in Nigeria.
Your rights
Under the NDPA, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you and why
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal reason we may need to keep it)
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data
- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you believe we’ve mishandled your data — see ndpc.gov.ng

Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults arranging their own travel. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.
